Hedvig is one of those few remarkable women who can combine the Scandinavian minimalism with that French elegance, adds her own touch, and succeed beyond any expectation and at tang moment.
It’s always time for some full on denim. Here’s ELLE Norway’s Elen Kristvik take outside Rick Owens in Paris, France.
Leave it to the lovely Susie Lau aka Susie Bubble to leave you dazzled with her always impeccable choice of bold colours, prints and overall, personality.
One of the coolest girls of fashion week because of both her personality and her own sense of style, Nadia Sarwar aka FrouFrouu is always under the camera radar. Following the beat of her own drum, Nadia has an eye for what she loves and wears it well. Bright orange is not an easy color, and even less when it’s a long gown. Yet no matter that, Nadia always finds a way to make her clothing suit her. With that vintage gown, a twist in the choice of Dr Martens shoes, the hat, and her distinctive nose rings, Nadia is that unique girl and a constant beautiful sight for the eye.
When Valentino Garavani showed his last collection, the fashion industry looked on to his successor. After Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli took their stand in the iconic brand, the classic elegance of Valentino prevailed. Yet a new youthful twist was added to the mix. Attracting younger generations and prevailing its’ traditional nature. Valentino has stood its ground as one of the major labels in the industry. Who better to embody that new Valentino woman than Hanneli Mustaparta. Her innovative way to look at her own style made her stand out as a girl to watch. Seasons later, she has risen to the challenge and always shines throughout fashion week. Although not obligatory to wear the same brand to the fashion show, Hanneli is stunning and effortless on this Jardin des Tuileries moment, in this Valentino ensemble. Because any woman can buy design clothes, but there are few women who don’t let the clothes wear them, but the other way around. Hanneli is one of those few women.
There is something quite genuine to love about Elin Kling. No matter how big her hype has become, how far she has come within her career, nor how better known inside and outside the industry she is, this is a woman who doesn’t compromise herself or her image. Always wearing her own version of Elin Kling simplicity, she always shines as that same girl that entered the industry some years ago. Here in denim pieces from her own Guess line, before Isabel Marant, Elin simply is that effortless girl.
Being back home in Oslo, street style is not as apparent as in other places, yet there are some strong exceptions. Always bright and colorful, the lovely Marianne Theodorsen aka StyleDevil always wears her personality on her. Fun and unafraid to mix and match, I caught a simple moment after Admir Batlak’s SS14 show. That 90s, almost radioactive two-toned hair color mixed with that love for tattoos, denim and structure works wonders on her. True facts, on Marianne, more is always more.
